You’ll support the design and execution of digital and print assets—from pitch decks to web pages to one-pagers—that communicate the value and impact of our EV charging technology. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who’s excited to contribute to a climate tech brand that’s still defining its voice.This is a part-time, remote contract position with flexible hours. If you're based in the Bay Area, you have the option to occasionally work from our Berkeley HQ.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and maintain marketing collateral including slide decks, data visualizations, one-pagers, and diagrams.</li><li>Collaborate with the CEO and go-to-market team to refine messaging and brand presentation for different audiences.</li><li>Help build and update the company website, contributing to layout, visual design, and content structure.</li><li>Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, polished visuals that resonate with customers, partners, and funders.</li><li>Assist with light copywriting for web, email, print, and pitch materials, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.</li><li>Maintain an organized library of marketing assets and version histories.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>A degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field.</li><li>At least 2–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or design—particularly in B2C early-stage or mission-driven startups.</li><li>Experience with Figma, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), or similar platforms, for creating slide decks, one-pagers, and visuals.</li><li>Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible, compelling visual and written narratives.</li><li>Familiarity with website builders or CMS tools (e.g., Framer or Squarespace) for layout and visual design contributions.</li><li>Strong command of concise, persuasive writing that aligns with brand tone—especially for web, email, and print.</li><li>Comfortable working cross-functionally (with leadership, engineering, and GTM teams) while maintaining a clean, version-controlled asset library.</li><li>Prior exposure to hardware, energy, or cleantech sectors a plus.</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Hours: Flexible, expecting 10-20 hours per week</li><li>Compensation: Hourly rate will be dependent on relevant experience and location</li><li>Location: Remote (Bay Area preferred)</li></ul>If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
