<div>Zoox is looking for an intern to support employee lifecycle transactions and talent practices on the People Experience (HR) team.  The intern will gain knowledge of HR processes by supporting day to day activity, contributing to process improvements and participating in projects, which will also provide foundational knowledge of HR management and develop lasting skills relevant to the HR profession.</div><br><br><h3>In this Role, You Will...</h3><ul><li>Support day-to-day employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, data changes, and offboarding by maintaining accurate employee records in HR systems and ensuring timely completion of transactions.</li><li>Assist in reviewing and improving People team workflows and documentation to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.</li><li>Contribute to special projects across the People Experience team—such as process audits, data reporting, or supporting the day-to-day crew experience —to gain exposure to core HR functions and best practices.</li><li>Identify and document future business processes, including potential gaps and areas for optimization in existing processes</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (human resources, organizational development, business administration, communications, sociology, psychology, etc.)</li><li>Must be returning to school to continue your education upon completing this internship</li><li>Good academic standing</li><li>Able to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in May or June of 2026</li><li>Ability to relocate to a city near Foster City, California for the duration of the internship</li><li>Interns at Zoox may not use any proprietary information they are working on as part of their thesis, any published work with their university, or to be distributed to anyone outside of Zoox</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Strong interest in human resources</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively with a proven ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Detail oriented and proactive about recognizing issues and finding viable solutions</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience working with Excel, Microsoft Office, or Google Suite</li><li>Experience working in a customer service oriented/administrative experience</li><li>Knowledge or v-lookups and other elevated Microsoft excel skills </li><li>Knowledge of HRIS or ticketing systems</li></ul><br><div><b style="font-size:11pt;">Compensation</b></div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">The monthly salary range for this position is $5,500 to $7,500. </span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;">Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level of education.
