About the positionWithin the Customer Operations department, we are looking for a Vessel Performance/ Naval Engineer to provide expert analysis and support to the rest of the departments and the client directly. This includes providing thorough analysis on client requests, supporting product development with subject-matter expertise, preparing reports on performance and data quality, flagging and resolving issues that may affect customer value escalated by support teams, and consulting customers directly on how to best get value out of their data and our products for the performance of their vessels.We are looking for a capable, knowledgeable and domain expert individual willing to lead the growth of our performance and monitoring tools.Main responsibilities<ul><li>Model Development &amp; Validation: Co-develop and validate models for ship propulsion, seakeeping, and maneuvering (steady and unsteady conditions), ensuring accuracy through analytical and empirical sanity checks.
