We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Direct and lead team in all accounting and finance functions, and policies</li><li>Work independently as a component of a team striving for the same goals</li><li>Support staff in daily accounting responsibilities across multiple ERP Systems ensuring that entries are processed in a timely and accurate manner</li><li>Utilize strong communication skills to interface with Business Finance (our customer), and others including; AP staff, technical staff, senior leadership, and procurement</li><li>Regularly performs internal control assessments to ensure strong internal controls are maintained and are continuing to adhere to compliance requirements</li><li>Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all GL processes by reviewing procedures and workflows, analyzing problems, recommending solutions and assisting in the implementation of new processes to drive cost saving and accuracy</li><li>This role will assist with training new and existing employees on GL related processes; ensuring the quality of work performed is in alignment with departmental goals</li><li>Ability to adapt and effectively interact with teams in different facilities.</li><li>Respond to accounting inquiries from domestic and international business partners including interim and annual audits</li><li>Ensure all supporting documentation is in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley</li><li>Consistently evaluate areas for process improvement</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li>Good learning attitude</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Compliance and integrity</li><li>Asking questions when in doubt</li></ul><ul><li>Team management</li><li>Good interpersonal skills</li><li>Sound accounting knowledge</li></ul>Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:Required Qualifications:<ul><li>CA/Inter CA/CMA/MBA/Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance preferably with additional professional qualifications</li><li>7+ years of relevant work experience in journal accounting</li><li>Experience in manufacturing preferred</li><li>In-depth working knowledge of the General Ledger &amp; US GAAP</li><li>Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail</li><li>Competency with Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel functions</li><li>Experience with Oracle or other ERP accounting systems and fixed asset software</li><li>Experience with SAP and OneStream Reconciliation modules a plus</li><li>Highly organized, strong ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with executives in multiple locations</li><li>Ability to act and operate independently, with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish directives.</li></ul>Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
