<div>Job Type</div><div>Full-time</div><p>Project Engineer I – Substation Automation (SCADA) performs a variety of routine tasks, which provide experience and familiarity with engineering staff, methods, practices and programs. Project Engineer I – Substation Automation (SCADA) works under close supervision but is expected to have some level of independence with required engineering tasks. </p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Computer networking knowledge and experience.</li><li>Experience with Wireshark, PLC/RTU programming (SEL, Eaton, Orion, Schneider), and VBA preferred.</li><li>Skilled at debugging and documenting existing code, and/or creating new code.</li><li>Experience with Networking Routing/Switching, Object Oriented coding (Structured Text, comparable to C), HMI Graphical Interface design preferred.</li><li>Assist in development of plans, specifications and inspection reports.</li><li>Understanding of electrical one-lines and reading schematics preferred.</li><li>Ability to confidently and correctly explain technical directions to coworkers and clients.</li><li>Performs basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.</li><li>Willingness to travel ~25% to 50%, infrequent overnight stays.</li><li>Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.</li><li>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
