This role serves as the main quality interface between JLG and Aertssen, ensuring compliance with JLG Quality Acceptance Criteria (QAC) and driving continuous improvement in subcontracted operations.<div></div>Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Quality<ul><li>Ensure Aertssen’s assembly and PDI activities comply with JLG Quality Acceptance Criteria (QAC).</li><li>Conduct inspections and audits at various process stages (incoming, in-process, and final).</li><li>Approve final quality checks and authorize green tag release.</li><li>Lead issue resolution for nonconformities and track Out-of-the-Box (OTB) performance.</li></ul>Process Compliance<ul><li>Verify adherence to JLG’s quality standards and certification processes.</li><li>Maintain testing and inspection documentation (logbooks, compliance forms, certificates).</li><li>Oversee end-of-line and stability testing for assembled machines.</li><li>Perform process audits and follow up on corrective actions.</li></ul>Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Lead quality improvement and problem-solving initiatives (8D, PDCA).</li><li>Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to improve processes.</li><li>Provide feedback and training on quality procedures where needed.</li></ul>Communication<ul><li>Report quality performance, issues, and progress to the ………..</li><li>Support regular reviews with Aertssen to drive performance improvements.</li></ul><div></div>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly quality.</li><li>Strong understanding of quality systems, auditing, and root cause analysis.</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus.</li><li>Willing to travel occasionally.</li></ul><div></div>Key Metrics<ul><li>Compliance with JLG QAC</li><li>Reduction in OTB and nonconformities</li><li>Timely closure of corrective actions</li><li>Positive audit results</li></ul>
