Working under their own initiative with minimal supervision to provide our customers with a high-quality service, the work will encompass installation, commissioning, inspections, training, fault finding, repairs and making recommendations to external customers as well as internal colleagues.The range of products will encompass all wastewater products but typically ballast treatment systems. Example trade products/names are CoMag &amp; BioMag Waste Treatment Systems.Takes day to day direction from the Field Service Manager on all assignments and tasks. Will Have a close working relationship with the project managers and process commissioning engineers.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for the supervision and managerial site lead of mechanical and electrical installations plus lead commissioning [dry and wet] of all site-based activities, having a working knowledge of wastewater treatment processes. Will solicit guidance, advice and assistance from control systems engineers, mechanical, electrical and process engineers whilst directed by the project manager and the field service manager, concluding in the successful delivery of a treatment process solution.</li><li>Responsible for planning, documenting and executing equipment offloading and site installations for the full range of Evoqua Wastewater products and systems. Mechanical and electrical installations are to be completed to good engineering practice, client specifications and in accordance with contract designs and documentation.</li><li>Responsible for planning, documenting and executing dry and wet commissioning of wastewater treatment processes for the full range of Wastewater products &amp; systems. Commissioning is to be completed to good engineering practice, client specifications and in accordance with company designs and documentation.</li><li>Responsibility for Environmental and H&amp;S requirements whilst on site, ensuring all relevant control measures are in place. This will include the generation and completion of relevant risk assessments, method statements and the enforcement/undertaking of all relevant legislative training requirements. Ensuring that all other activities undertaken on-site have associated method statements, risk assessments &amp; permits to work in place. The co-ordination of Xylem Water Technologies service activities on customer sites to ensuring compliance with site rules and requirements.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring that all site records and reports pertaining to the installation and commissioning are completed in line with company procedures; and are sent to the project manager within specified time limits.</li><li>Responsible for executing work required for all completed projects in the contract warranty phase. Will interface with client and coordinate efforts with the Evoqua project manager and engineers to execute work that has been deemed to be genuine warranty work. To execute the adopted solution and provide customer satisfaction whilst addressing the issue raised.</li><li>To build relationship &amp; partnerships with our external customers and suppliers whilst executing the assigned work. To provide lessons learn feedback to the FSM and engineers.</li><li>When not site based, the role requires you to occasionally attend the Xylem offices in Derby. You will assist with the following two major functions:</li></ul><ul><li>Equipment inspection, assembly works and office delivery and dispatch logistics.</li><li>Assist the field service manager, project managers and engineers with managing, communicating and preparing documentation for suppliers.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Ability to work at remote sites either on own, or with others, and commitment to vary working hours to meet the needs of the role.
