Job Title: Group LeadCompensation:<ul><li>Wages start at $26.52/hour plus shift differential of up to $1.25/hour.</li><li>Paid Vacations, Paid Holidays, &amp; Paid Personal Day</li><li>Quarterly Bonus Opportunity</li><li>Health, Dental, &amp; Vision Insurance on day 1!</li><li>Employee Battery Program</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li><li>Weekly Pay</li><li>$1,000.00 Employee Referral Bonus Opportunity</li></ul>Position Duties:Under close supervision following standard operating procedures and Company policies produce batteries on the line.Typical Duties:<ul><li>Verifies formation tables are open, clean, and ready for batteries.</li><li>Put open tables into LOAD and while the table is loading un-cables tables that are ready to go out.</li><li>Cables batteries that have been loaded.</li><li>Checks for bad cables and disposes of defective cables in proper cans/barrels.</li><li>Perform any operation in the group when needed.</li><li>Directs, checks, and records work of group in accordance with specifications and daily schedules</li><li>Take necessary steps to correct minor difficulties with equipment.</li><li>Reports on major problems of quality and/or equipment to supervisor</li><li>Recommend supervision changes or reassignments of personnel to obtain best operating efficiency.</li><li>Demonstrate leadership ability and is responsible for training or assisting in training new operators.</li><li>Participate in developing and improving Standard Work Practices for each area and consistently reviews them for effectiveness through team meetings and practice.</li><li>Keep work area clean and orderly, follow 5S standards.</li><li>Be able to use basic computer functions.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Basic math, reading and writing skills </li><li>Must be able to work all shifts up to 12 hours, as overtime may be mandatory.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>1+ years of working experience in manufacturing or similar industry desired</li><li>Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed </li><li>Ability to come in early or stay late depending on production demands </li><li>Must be able to wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, uniform, and safety boots)</li><li>Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident card holder.
