<h2>Who We Are Looking For</h2>The Business Development Intern will be part of Clearway’s West Business Development Team. The Business Development Team is responsible for growing Clearway’s utility-scale business through acquisitions and greenfield development strategies.  The intern will assist the Business Development team in the valuation, due diligence, and execution of investment opportunities of renewable energy projects. The individual in this highly collaborative position will work with seasoned industry experts both on the business development team and with other teams across the company. In addition to M&amp;A activities, the intern will contribute to the ongoing commercialization of utility-scale solar, storage, and wind assets in our development pipeline. Finally, the intern will also be assigned a special project to help advance in-depth market analysis and broader growth strategies that will be presented at the end of the internship. This position is part of the 10-week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning on June 1, 2026. We are open to hiring an undergraduate (juniors or rising seniors) intern. We are looking for students in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.  Throughout this summer internship program, you’ll get exposure to real projects and challenges while gaining first-hand professional experience.
