The Export Market Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting and managing demand for Export Aftermarket customers. This role involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer orders to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient supply chain operations. The planner collaborates with sales, production, and logistics teams to align demand forecasts with business goals and customer expectations.RESPONSIBILITIESDemand Forecasting &amp; Planning<ul><li>Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.</li><li>Utilize statistical models and forecasting tools to predict demand fluctuations.</li><li>Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotions, market events, and competitor activities into forecasts</li></ul>Sales &amp; Order Management<ul><li> Manage process of customer order intake, lead communication of estimated shipment readiness with customers, and plan to meet their required delivery date. Monitor pending orders and develop strategies for maximizing demands and sales within limited production capacity.</li><li>Consolidate order demand, sales outlook, and backorders (due to production capacity) into a single demand plan.</li><li>Track and analyze order fulfillment performance, identifying areas for improvement.</li><li>Support sales teams with insights on product availability and lead times.</li></ul>Data Analysis &amp; Reporting <ul><li>Analyze demand patterns, customer behavior, and seasonality trends to improve forecast accuracy.</li><li>Provide regular reports on demand planning KPIs, such as forecast accuracy, fill rates, and aged stock levels by utilizing power BI and enhancing visualization.</li><li>Identify risks and opportunities in the market to support business decision-making.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with commercial, production, logistics, procurement, and finance teams to align demand plans with overall business strategy.</li><li>Communicate demand planning insights and recommendations to management.</li><li>Support new product launches and phase-outs with demand planning insights.</li></ul>REQUIREMENTSEducation &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree</li><li>5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or inventory management, preferably in the automotive or battery industry.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Fluent in English ability as mandatory condition.</li><li>Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.</li><li>Proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., QAD, SAP, or similar).</li><li>Advanced Excel skills.</li><li>Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques and market trend analysis.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Understanding of supply chain and logistics constraints affecting demand planning.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience handling aged stock and developing inventory reduction strategies.</li><li>Knowledge of automotive industry.</li></ul>Reporting to:APAC Demand Planning ManagerClarios is the global leader in advanced, low-voltage battery technologies for mobility.
