This is a highly visible, high-impact individual contributor role responsible for shaping Workiva’s position in the market as a differentiated, AI-powered platform that enables confident decision-making across Finance, Risk, and Sustainability. This leader will be the steward of Workiva’s platform narrative, responsible for defining and evolving our category story, counseling executive leadership on how we show up to the market, and translating complex capabilities across data, AI, and assurance into clear, compelling value for executive buyers. You will own Workiva’s platform value proposition, corporate pitch deck, and flagship event storytelling, including executive keynotes such as the Workiva Amplify product keynote. In partnership with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Enablement, and Executive Leadership, you will co-lead the Quarterly Marketing Moments Program with Campaign Management by coupling product launches with major events. You will also own the messaging for large-scale thematic campaigns, helping to drive up to 50% of marketing-influenced pipeline, and lead strategic initiatives that fuel revenue growth, including large-scale enablement efforts. In doing so, this role plays a critical part in shaping how Workiva differentiates, how we sell larger platform deals, and how our executive team articulates the company’s long-term vision and value to the market.<h2>What You’ll Do</h2><ul><li>Define and evolve platform-level positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across our brand and solution areas while clearly articulating Workiva’s differentiated value</li><li>Lead platform storytelling for flagship moments, including the Workiva Amplify product keynote and other executive-level presentations</li><li>Lead the creation and evolution of Workiva’s corporate pitch deck and enable the global sales organization to articulate Workiva’s differentiating value proposition </li><li>Partner on Workiva’s quarterly marketing moments program, aligning major product launches with high-visibility marketing events to amplify impact, accelerate awareness, and create meaningful market moments</li><li>Drive thought leadership through content, messaging, and speaking opportunities and partner with Demand Generation to support large, integrated campaigns that drive platform awareness for the company</li><li>Measure and optimize the efficacy of our platform messaging in-market</li><li>Meet with customers, analysts, and partners to define and validate key value pillars </li><li>Present to executive leadership with insights, recommendations, and updates that support platform growth and strategic priorities  </li></ul>What You’ll NeedMinimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field</li><li>10+ years of experience in product marketing or closely related roles (e.g., product management, corporate marketing, industry marketing, or sales)  </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>B2B SaaS product marketing experience, particularly in platform, data, AI, or enterprise software</li><li>Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives</li><li>Experience supporting platform or portfolio-level GTM strategies (vs. single solutions)</li><li>Strong understanding of enterprise buyer personas (e.g., CFO, CIO, CISO) and complex buying motions</li><li>Proven success collaborating with cross-functional leadership across Product, Sales, Marketing, Enablement, RevOps, and Customer Success</li><li>Strong analytical skills, with experience using pipeline, bookings, and performance data to guide GTM decisions</li><li>MBA preferred</li></ul><h2>Travel Requirements &amp; Working Conditions</h2><ul><li>Up to 25% travel</li><li>Reliable internet access for any period working remotely, not in a Workiva office</li></ul>How You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $154,000.00 - $250,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
