<h2>Overview</h2>Siemens Blade Repair Technician – Level D 100% Travel | Siemens Blade Repair – Advanced Structural Repair About the Role Sky Climber Renewables is seeking Siemens Blade Repair Technicians – Level D to support advanced, high-complexity blade repair scopes across Siemens wind projects. This role is designed for technicians with the highest level of Siemens blade repair competence, capable of executing large-scale structural repairs and advanced technical fixes beyond standard laminate restoration.  This is not a general blade repair role. Level D technicians are deployed specifically because of their advanced certification, experience, and judgment, and are trusted to execute the most complex structural blade repairs in the Siemens fleet. What You’ll Do <ul> <li>Deploy as a key member of SCR’s Siemens-certified blade repair workforce supporting advanced structural repair scopes </li></ul><ul> <li>Travel 100% on a rotational basis to Siemens blade repair projects across the U.S. </li></ul><ul> <li>Perform advanced structural blade repairs, including large-scale laminate reconstruction, complex load-bearing repairs, and advanced technical fixes </li></ul><ul> <li>Execute Siemens –approved repair procedures for high-severity blade damage beyond surface erosion or minor laminate repair </li></ul><ul> <li>Lead planning and execution of complex repair scopes, including repair sequencing, material selection, and structural validation </li></ul><ul> <li>Ensure strict adherence to Siemens repair standards, quality requirements, and documentation protocols </li></ul><ul> <li>Serve as a technical authority in the field, supporting troubleshooting and repair strategy decisions </li></ul><ul> <li>Mentor and technically support Level C and junior blade technicians on complex repair execution </li></ul><ul> <li>Interface directly with customers, site leadership, and internal technical support functions </li></ul><ul> <li>Complete all required technical reports, repair documentation, and certification records accurately and on time </li></ul><ul> <li>Perform rescue operations and support emergency response activities as required </li></ul>Siemens Certifications &amp; Activation Requirements (Required) <ul> <li>Current Siemens Blade Repair Certification – Level D </li></ul><ul> <li>GWO Certifications: Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), Advanced Rescue Training (ART) </li></ul><ul> <li>Ability to maintain required certifications including OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Siemens blade-specific technical certifications </li></ul><ul> <li>This role prioritizes technicians who can be activated immediately on advanced Siemens blade repair scopes </li></ul>Technical Qualifications <ul> <li>Extensive experience performing advanced structural blade repairs on Siemens turbines </li></ul><ul> <li>Demonstrated capability executing complex laminate, core, and structural repairs </li></ul><ul> <li>Advanced understanding of composite materials, including structural epoxies and adhesives, reinforcement and core systems, and advanced layup schedules and cure processes </li></ul><ul> <li>Ability to interpret Siemens repair manuals, engineering instructions, and structural repair criteria </li></ul><ul> <li>Strong attention to execution quality, documentation accuracy, and safety compliance </li></ul><ul> <li>Ability to work autonomously in high-risk, high-complexity repair environments </li></ul>Physical &amp; Work Environment Requirements <ul> <li>Ability to climb wind turbines 300 feet or more </li></ul><ul> <li>Ability to lift and move materials and tools up to 50 lbs </li></ul><ul> <li>Ability to work at height and in confined blade environments </li></ul><ul> <li>Ability to work outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions </li></ul><ul> <li>Weight requirement of 120–280 lbs, including clothing, boots, and standard personal protective equipment </li></ul>Employment Conditions <ul> <li>Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record </li></ul><ul> <li>Ability to pass background check(s) and drug screening </li></ul><ul> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position per Siemens and SCR requirements </li></ul>About Sky Climber Renewables Sky Climber Renewables (SCR) provides specialized field services to the utility-scale wind industry across North America.
