We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Main purpose of position Currently we are looking for a Site Manager, Dobrun &amp; Sadova to join our global team. You will be Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day construction activities, implement high on-site quality standards, ensure all personnel and contractors maintain high HSEE standards, and monitor &amp; report progress. Main point of contact with the Contractors at site, responsible to lead daily and weekly meetings, coordinate the sequence of the construction activities with the support of supervisorsProject location – Craiova region ( Dobrun - Olt, Sadova - Dolj ) Main responsibilities <ul> <li>Manage the following key project disciplines at site, Health and Safety, Environmental management, logistics and warehouse, Quality Control, Document control of all quality documentation, Progress measurement of site activities and Community Liaison (Grievances); ensure the project is being executed within the contractual requirements and proactively assist the Construction Team</li> <li>Ensure that basic services at site like security, control of entrance at site, office facilities (supply of electricity, water, cleaning, basic office material), vehicles; keep control of the budget related</li> <li>Manage Scatec on site teams, responsible for planning and coordinate Scatec resources at site, control extra hours, rotations, commuting (daily to site / rotation), take actions on deviation of conduct, performance evaluation reviews.</li> <li>Main point of contact with the Contractors at site, responsible to lead daily and weekly meetings, coordinate the sequence of the construction activities with the support of supervisors </li> <li>Compile daily and weekly Construction reports based on on-site observations</li> <li>Engage daily with the Scatec site managers and supervisors in terms of progress, risks and quality of work</li> <li>Evaluate construction progress reporting (from sub-contractors) daily and the validity thereof</li> <li>Represent the SCATEC (as EPC) in Community meetings as part of stakeholder engagement commitments as requested supporting the CLO, Unions, Local Police, Schools, Environmental and governmental related audits at site</li></ul>Qualifications and competencies <ul> <li>Degree in Construction Management or Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering</li> <li>Specialization in Solar and/or renewables, 5+ years management of renewable energy construction </li> <li>Project Management Education</li> <li>8+ years working experience in a construction project environment – supervisory/management role</li> <li>Management of all construction aspects, electrical, mechanical and civil engineering works</li> <li>Clear ability to plan, delegate and coordinate tasks to all subordinates on the construction project</li> <li>Staff management, time management, cost management, quality management and production management expertise</li> <li>Good at building relationships and trust, good judgement skills and high integrity</li> <li>High social and intercultural competence</li> <li>Language: Fluent both written and spoken in Romanian and English</li></ul>Additional information:12 month contract, driver license   Personal characteristicsIt is part of every employee’s term of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhering to our company values which are:<ul> <li>Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, share information in an open and honest way</li> <li>Driving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritize and work independently</li> <li>Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust</li> <li>Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude</li></ul>We offerScatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
