Our Technical Publications group aims to create quick and easy-to-use product documentation, including contextual help and videos. We seek a motivated information developer and content strategist to work with our product team. The ideal candidate will have a product-owner mindset and focus on creating impactful documentation.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage documentation projects and collaborate with technical writers to ensure accuracy and quality.</li><li>Possess excellent writing skills, organize ideas clearly, and translate technical terms for any reader. Able to manage multiple assignments independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Learn products through hands-on experience and communicate technical information effectively within cross-functional teams.</li><li>Work with subject matter experts and product managers to determine technical specifications and content for publication. Strong research skills to gather and analyze data.</li><li>Complete writing tasks according to clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology standards.</li><li>Lead content work for cross-functional teams on time-sensitive projects.</li><li>Conduct interviews with users and technical staff for documentation. Collaborate with product management, support, marketing, and other SMEs.</li><li>Analyze technical feedback from audiences and implement necessary changes in documentation or products.</li></ul>Skills/Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.</li><li>Over 10-15 years of experience in storage documentation, online publishing, online help development, API documentation, installation and user guides, and release notes.</li><li>Demonstrated technical writing and editing proficiency with exceptional command of the English language, including grammar and usage.</li><li>Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn products through hands-on experience.</li><li>Familiarity with API tools, such as Swagger.</li><li>Practical experience working with Generative AI in areas such as prompt engineering and AI model comprehension.</li><li>Proficiency in DITA, XML, Microsoft Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of topic-based authoring and reusable information architecture.</li><li>Experience with agile software development processes and associated tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.</li><li>Video creation experience is an advantage.</li><li>Proficiency in spoken Japanese is a plus.</li><li>Content translation experience is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to step into a leadership capacity—driving initiatives forward, taking ownership of outcomes, and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority</li></ul>#LI-SP7<h1>About us</h1>We’re a global team of innovators.
