JOB SUMMARYBrazers assemble and join metal components using a torch and filler materials in a controlled process that ensures strong, leak-proof, and durable joints.  Here are some of the tasks you'll be performing:Metal Preparation<ul><li>Clean and prepare metal surfaces to ensure proper bonding.</li><li>Align and secure parts using clamps, fixtures, or jigs. </li></ul> Brazing Operations<ul><li>Apply flux and filler metal to joint areas.</li><li>Use torches, induction heaters, or furnaces to heat metal parts to brazing temperature.</li><li>Monitor temperature and timing to ensure proper bonding,</li></ul> Quality Control<ul><li>Inspect finished joints for strength, leaks, and conformity to specifications.</li><li>Perform pressure tests or visual inspections as required.</li><li>Identify and correct defects or inconsistencies.</li></ul> Blueprint and Specification Reading<ul><li>Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.</li><li>Follow detailed instructions to meet product specifications.</li></ul> Benefits offered: <ul><li>$19-$21/hours (based on experience)</li><li>Yearly $150 safety boot allowance</li><li>Competitive medical, dental, and vision package, with benefits from day 1! </li><li>401k retirement plan</li><li>Vacation time &amp; paid sick days</li><li>Work uniform provided</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous brazing experience (preferred but not required).</li></ul> Education requirement:<ul><li>Post-secondary education or related experience.</li></ul> To be a success in this role: <ul><li>Willingness to braze copper joints with an open flame torch.</li><li>Have an attention to detail.</li><li>Have mechanical skills and be mechanically inclined.</li><li>Written/verbal communication skills in English</li><li>Ability to multitask and adapt to a highly dynamic environment.</li><li>Good reasoning skills and sound judgement.</li><li>Must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds.</li></ul></div>
