In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of production equipment to keep our manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. It's a great opportunity to grow your career within a stable and well-established business.What will you do?<ul><li>Conduct breakdown and immediate maintenance activities across the site and facilities.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve equipment faults to minimise downtime and maintain operational performance.</li><li>Install, service, repair, and overhaul manufacturing machinery, conveyors, pumps, and associated plant equipment.</li><li>Identify maintenance issues and opportunities for improvement to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.</li><li>Follow all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements, contributing to a safe and compliant workplace.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records and support planned shutdowns, inspections, and maintenance schedules.</li><li>Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.</li></ul>About you<ul><li>Trade certification in mechanical fitting or related trade, or final year apprentice</li><li>Excellent fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Licenses: forklift, EWP, confined spaces</li><li>An understanding of hydraulic &amp; pneumatics, water process plant and associated equipment</li><li>Welding competence (Mig/Tig/Arc)</li><li>Experience in CMMS</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.</li><li>Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing maintenance activities in a dynamic environment.</li><li>A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.</li><li>A strong focus on safety and compliance, with a commitment to maintaining best-practice standards.  </li></ul>Why join us?
