Since being founded in 2016, LevelTen’s platform has facilitated over $14.8 billion in clean energy transactions.  </p><p><em>Join us on a mission that matters.</em></p><p>As Senior Director of Account Management, North America, you will lead the customer engagement function for every active LevelTen account in the region — across developers, corporate and utility buyers, advisors, partners, and data center hyperscalers. Reporting to the VP of Customer Engagement, you will own the retention, expansion, and marketplace activation outcomes for the NA book of business and will be a senior voice on the Customer Engagement leadership team.</p><p>This is a builder role at a pivotal moment in the energy transition. Corporate buyers, hyperscalers, and developers all need better tools and trusted partners to navigate an accelerating clean energy market, and LevelTen’s marketplace is the connective tissue. The Account Management team is the engine that turns subscriber relationships into long-term retention and recurring marketplace activity. You will set the playbook, raise the bar on team performance, and own a meaningful slice of LevelTen’s recurring and transactional revenue.</p><h3>Duties and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Own North American renewal and net retention performance</li><ul><li>Deliver against subscription retention targets across the NA book of business.</li><li>Build and operationalize a renewals motion that works across developer, buyer, advisor, and data center segments.</li><li>Surface churn risk early, lead save plays, and ensure forecast accuracy in Salesforce.</li><li>Drive Net Revenue Retention through structured expansion plays within existing accounts.</li></ul><li>Drive marketplace engagement across the NA customer base</li><ul><li>Increase the rate at which active accounts submit projects, issue buy-side RFPs, respond to surveys, and contribute market signals to the LevelTen ecosystem.</li><li>Partner with Product and Marketing on engagement campaigns and customer education that drive recurring marketplace activity.</li><li>Connect customer engagement to success fee revenue by helping accounts move opportunities through to executed transactions.</li></ul><li>Lead and develop a high-performing team</li><ul><li>Manage a 7-person organization with 3 direct reports, including a manager layer; coach, hire, and level up talent across the team.</li><li>Install consistent account management playbooks, QBR cadences, and customer health-scoring practices.</li><li>Develop high-potential team members into the next generation of LevelTen leaders.</li></ul><li>Lead cross-functionally across Customer Engagement and the broader business</li><ul><li>Partner with North American Sales leadership on new-business-to-AM handoffs and joint account expansion.</li><li>Partner with European Account Management and Sales leadership to maintain a globally consistent customer experience and effectively manage global accounts.</li><li>Partner with Sales Operations on Salesforce hygiene, reporting, and enablement.</li></ul><li>Represent the voice of the North American customer to Product and the broader leadership team.</li><ul><li>Own executive engagement with strategic NA accounts</li><li>Maintain senior relationships with named strategic customers across developers, corporate buyers, utilities, advisors, and hyperscalers.</li><li>Be a credible, senior voice with C-suite stakeholders on the clean energy market, LevelTen’s products, and the marketplace opportunity.</li><li>Travel up to 15% for customer visits, industry events, and team gatherings.</li></ul></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>10+ years of professional work experience, with significant experience in a relevant clean energy, utility, or related industry field.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree required.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead teams, extract complex challenges, and distill them into clear management recommendations and actions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to think strategically with the end in mind and develop plans that meaningfully impact an enterprise customer engagement function.</li><li>Viewed as a leader within prior organizations by executive leadership and peers — with a track record of building credibility internally and externally.</li><li>Salesforce fluency — confident driving forecasting, pipeline hygiene, account planning, and dashboard-based team management.</li><li>Strong command of modern Customer Success methodology — health scoring, QBRs, segmentation, NRR motions, and structured customer journeys.</li><li>Experience selling, renewing, or managing accounts for a data subscription or SaaS data product.</li><li>Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing presence with senior buyers, developers, and partners.</li><li>People-leadership instincts: develops talent, holds the bar, and creates clarity for a team operating across diverse customer segments.</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have</h3><ul><li>MBA or other advanced degree.</li><li>Direct exposure to PPAs, EAC-only deals, storage tolls, capacity contracts, or related clean energy commercial structures.</li><li>Prior experience scaling a customer engagement function in a marketplace, two-sided platform, or data subscription business.</li><li>Experience working with hyperscaler / data center buyers or large corporate clean energy procurement programs.</li><li>Experience leading a team that serves both buy-side and sell-side customers within the same book of business.</li></ul><h3>Benefits / Perks</h3><ul><li>Full Medical, Vision and Dental coverage</li><li>Wellness Credit</li><li>Flexible vacation policy</li><li>11 paid company holidays</li><li>401k</li></ul><h3>In the Seattle office:</h3><ul><li>Casual dress code</li><li>Commuter benefits</li><li>Standing desk options</li><li>Regular company-sponsored events</li><li>Hybrid in-office/work from home schedule</li></ul><p>Additional Information</p><ul><li>This position is based out of our office in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, WA (hybrid work schedule). Remote may be considered in exceptional circumstances.</li><li>The estimated annual compensation for this position is $185,000-210,000 base / $250,000 - $280,000 OTE, depending on location and experience. This role is designed for high-impact leaders and features a substantial commission structure with significant upside, alongside an equity grant.
