AECOM is seeking a Deputy Logistics Manager - Airport  to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world. Major Requirements: To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following: <ul><li>Skilled in the development of transportation strategies.</li><li>Applies logistics terminology and measures and identifies logistics processes/project actions that may impact the project.</li><li>Knowledgeable of construction means, methods, and sequences.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to effectively supervise a logistics team.</li><li>Assumes mentoring and training roles as requested and identifies high potential employees to management.</li><li>Documents employee performance issues and plays an instrumental role in resolutions.</li><li>Prepares and implements logistics plans, staffing plans, and procedures for small projects. </li><li>Assigns tasks to logistics personnel and ensures conformance to budget and schedule. </li><li>Reviews and approves agreements for logistics services.</li><li>Resolves disputes/claims from logistics providers.</li><li>Provides logistics support to company proposals in obtaining pricing from subcontractors and developing strategies and plans.</li><li>Seeks appropriate counsel from procurement &amp; materials management as required to meet complex project issues</li></ul>
