The Director of Data Management and Analytics partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is managed as a strategic asset and analytics capabilities align with organizational goals.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Define and implement enterprise-wide data management strategies that support AI &amp; Analytics objectives and is aligned with Xylem’s business goals and technology roadmap.</li><li>Design and maintain scalable data architecture that positions data for reuse across functions and use cases.</li><li>Ensure seamless integration of data across the application landscape.</li><li>Establish data governance policies and procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with Program Management to achieve target AI &amp; Analytics outcomes.</li><li>Implement processes for data profiling, cleansing and validation.</li><li>Establish and monitor KPIs to maintain data accuracy, consistency, reconciliation, and trust.</li><li>Design and develop certified data models to be leveraged by citizen developers.</li><li>Design and develop certified reports and dashboards that are scalable and user-friendly.</li><li>Translate business requirements into operational capabilities.</li><li>Ensure data is discoverable, trusted, and compliant by managing metadata, providing catalog and lineage transparency.</li><li>Protect enterprise data through a scalable security architecture and controls that enforce least-privilege access and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Build, lead, and mentor high-performing data engineering, BI, and analytics teams.</li><li>Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data literacy across the organization.</li><li>Collaborate with IT, cyber-security, compliance, and business leaders to ensure data initiatives are aligned and well-integrated.</li><li>Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organization needs</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:•<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.</li><li>8 + years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy roles.</li><li>5+ years of experience in business relationship management or program management.</li><li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.</li><li>Broad knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, SQL, Azure Data Lake Services, PowerBI, Business Objects, Cognos, and traditional data warehousing technologies.</li><li>Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, analytics platforms, and enterprise data management principles.</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
