In this highly visible role, you will act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and the AI &amp; Enterprise Data team, ensuring that analytics and AI solutions are reliable and deliver measurable business value. You will champion the adoption of advanced analytics, empower teams to make data-driven decisions, and help shape the Data function to be a strategic enabler of Xylem’s success. Your leadership will be instrumental in sustaining our AI, Data &amp; Analytics technologies throughout our digital transformation.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Oversee the day-to-day operations of data platforms (strategic &amp; legacy).</li><li>Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of deployed solutions.</li><li>Monitor and optimize data workloads.</li><li>Lead the resolution of AI &amp; Analytic solution incidents and outages.</li><li>Establish and manage support processes (e.g., ticketing, SLAs, escalations, and KPIs).</li><li>Define, implement and enforce data access controls, lineage tracking, and audit logging.</li><li>Establish processes to maintain data accuracy, consistency, reconciliation, and trust.</li><li>Define and lead QA process and end user acceptance testing.</li><li>Standardize and document operational procedures and runbooks.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.</li><li>Advocate for modernization of legacy platforms.</li><li>Define, implement, and enforce data retention and archival policies to ensure regulatory compliance, cost-efficient storage, and responsible long-term data stewardship.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:•<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.</li><li>8 + years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy roles.</li><li>5+ years of experience in business relationship management or program management.</li><li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.</li><li>Broad knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, SQL, Azure Data Lake Services, PowerBI, Business Objects, Cognos, and traditional data warehousing technologies.</li><li>Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, analytics platforms, and enterprise data management principles.</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
