<p>The Insurance Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and oversight of personal and commercial insurance programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, insurance brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure proper coverage, policy compliance, claims management, and risk mitigation.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing High-Net-Worth (HNW) personal insurance portfolios as well as complex commercial insurance programs, with a strong understanding of underwriting processes, policy administration, coverage analysis, and claims resolution.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Manage all aspects of the organization's personal and commercial insurance programs, including property, casualty, automobile, umbrella, workers' compensation, general liability, cyber, directors &amp; officers (D&amp;O), and builder's risk policies.</li><li>Administer High-Net-Worth (HNW) personal insurance portfolios for executives and ownership, including homes, automobiles, watercraft, aircraft, collectibles, and personal umbrella coverage.</li><li>Coordinate annual insurance renewals by gathering underwriting information, preparing submissions, and working closely with brokers and carriers.</li><li>Review and analyze policy terms, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage limits to ensure adequate protection and alignment with operational risks.</li><li>Conduct periodic insurance coverage audits to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for cost savings.</li><li>Manage the issuance and tracking of certificates of insurance (COIs), auto ID cards, policy schedules, and other insurance documentation.</li><li>Oversee the claims process from initial reporting through final resolution, coordinating with carriers, adjusters, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain accurate insurance records, schedules, and databases, ensuring timely updates for acquisitions, disposals, and operational changes.</li><li>Support contract review activities by evaluating insurance requirements and verifying compliance with contractual obligations.</li><li>Coordinate fleet insurance administration, including vehicle additions/deletions, driver schedules, and related documentation.</li><li>Monitor carrier performance, claims trends, and premium expenditures, providing regular reporting and recommendations to leadership.</li><li>Assist with internal and external audits related to insurance and risk management.</li><li>Develop and maintain insurance policies, procedures, and operational controls to improve efficiency and compliance.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, Insurance, or related field preferred.</li><li>5+ years of experience in insurance operations, risk management, brokerage, or corporate insurance administration.</li><li>Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines and High-Net-Worth personal insurance products.</li><li>Experience managing underwriting submissions, policy renewals, claims administration, and coverage analysis.</li><li>Familiarity with certificates of insurance, policy endorsements, auto ID card administration, and insurance compliance documentation.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management systems.</li><li>Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CIC, or CRM are a plus.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Experience</h2><ul><li>Corporate risk management or family office insurance administration.</li><li>Construction, energy, real estate, or multi-entity business insurance programs.</li><li>Management of executive and ownership personal insurance portfolios.</li><li>Working directly with insurance brokers, carriers, legal counsel, and third-party administrators.</li></ul><h2>Core Competencies</h2><ul><li>Insurance Program Administration</li><li>Risk Assessment &amp; Coverage Analysis</li><li>Underwriting Coordination</li><li>Claims Management</li><li>Policy &amp; Documentation Management</li><li>Contract Insurance Compliance</li><li>Vendor &amp; Broker Relationship Management</li><li>Process Improvement &amp; Operational Excellence</li><li>Confidentiality &amp; Professional Judgment</li></ul><p>This position plays a critical role in protecting the organization's assets and ensuring that both corporate and personal insurance programs are effectively managed, compliant, and aligned with the company's evolving operational needs.</p>
