Those responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Actively participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately.</li><li>Complete Blackline reconciliations and reporting packages timely and accurately.</li><li>Prepare journal entries and review coding in support of monthly closings.</li><li>Assist external auditors and tax compliance professionals.</li><li>Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and/or semi-annual debt service and distribution packages.</li><li>Coordinate with related internal and external parties to prepare monthly draw packages.</li><li>Ensure compliance with controls, corporate policies, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Review and approve vendor payments.</li><li>Reconcile intercompany relationships and balances, including research and resolving discrepancies.</li><li>Identify and communicate potential issues and/or opportunities on processes to Accounting Managers.</li><li>Work with counterparts to ensure consistency among processes and support operations.</li><li>Perform additional tasks as assigned by Accounting Manager.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance required.</li><li>A minimum of 0-3 years’ experience working within an accounting department and/or in public accounting.</li><li>Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Administrative, organizational and communication skills required.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated self-starter, and team player attitude.</li><li>Ability to follow through on assigned tasks from start to finish, including ability to research, analyze and solve problems.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>CPA license or eligible to sit for CPA exam is preferred.</li><li>Prior experience with Utility Scale Renewable Energy (preferred, not required.)</li><li>Experience/exposure to NetSuite ERP system (preferred, not required.)</li></ul>Why Join Arevon?
