Job PurposeAdminister project contracts and monitor procurement activities to protect the Client's contractual and commercial interests, including variations, claims, extension of time, RA bills, BOQ control and contractor compliance.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Review contract conditions, technical scope, BOQ, payment terms, milestones and contractor obligations.</li><li>Establish contract-administration procedures, correspondence protocols and contractual registers.</li><li>Monitor compliance with contractual notices, securities, insurance, warranties and statutory obligations.</li><li>Review variation proposals, change requests and scope-deviation submissions.</li><li>Assess contractor claims for additional cost and extension of time in coordination with planning and technical teams.</li><li>Verify claim entitlement, causation, substantiation, records and contractual notice compliance.</li><li>Review RA bills, milestone invoices, quantity measurements, material reconciliation and supporting documentation.</li><li>Recommend payment certification, withholding or recovery based on verified contractual performance.</li><li>Maintain variation, claim, EOT, payment, guarantee, insurance and contractual correspondence registers.</li><li>Monitor procurement schedules, vendor approvals, manufacturing progress, inspection, dispatch and delivery of critical materials and equipment.</li><li>Review vendor and subcontractor compliance with approved specifications and contractual requirements.</li><li>Support commercial negotiations and preparation of recommendations to the Client.</li><li>Identify potential contractual exposures and recommend mitigation or dispute-avoidance measures.</li><li>Support contract close-out, final account settlement, completion certification and release of contractual securities.</li><li>Ensure commercial assessments are evidence-based and supported by contemporaneous project records.</li></ul>Key Deliverables<ul><li>Contract-administration plan.</li><li>Variation and change-control register.</li><li>Claim and EOT assessment reports.</li><li>RA bill and payment-certification recommendations.</li><li>Procurement and expediting dashboard.</li><li>Commercial-risk register.</li><li>Final account and contract close-out report.</li></ul>
