<p>You will help to manage the implementation workstream, with the aim of achieving business targets for planning permissions. This is likely to include: </p><ul><li>Be responsible for developing ~ 2 projects</li><li>Leading in the project management of Solar projects at all stages of project development from site identification through to construction activity;</li><li>Manage the technical /Implementation workstreams with the aim of ensuring projects are commercially viable and can be delivered. </li><li>Support fellow project managers in the development of NSIP (DCO) scale solar projects. </li><li>Coordinate consultations with Local Planning Authorities, national government bodies and statutory consultees.</li><li>Having full responsibility for management of project budgets and schedules from early-stage development to point of construction.</li><li>Participate in Solar Energy UK (and other relevant industry bodies) consultations, workshops and conferences as required. </li><li>Preparing and coordinating internal decision gate documentation.</li><li>Managing project procurement for civil and electrical contractors ahead of construction</li><li>Engage and negotiate agreements with landowners and their representatives;</li><li>Discharging commencement planning condition discharge (or obtaining any post-consent planning variations).</li><li>Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate community engagement, both internally and externally. </li><li>Collaborate with financial, HSE, legal and technical and construction teams to establish an optimal project strategy that accounts for risk assessment. </li><li>Working across business areas especially with Grid Services and PDU to optimise and implement solar projects</li><li>Provide regular project progress reports and deliver detailed risk and opportunity analysis to management. </li><li>Conduct market analysis for solar energy and actively contribute to the strategic direction and prospecting strategy of the UK Solar Development Team. </li><li>Guide and coach junior team members (Assistant Project Managers/Project Managers) through challenging or unusual planning projects. </li></ul>
