Join us in bringing this next-generation product from engineering validation to full-scale manufacturing.The RoleThe Senior Program Manager, IQ SST is a mission-critical role responsible for driving the IQ SST program from engineering development through New Product Introduction (NPI) and into high-volume manufacturing. This role sits at the center of the program, bringing together Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing/Operations to ensure a technically complex, large-scale hardware system is delivered on time, at quality, and at cost. This role requires exceptional cross-functional coordination to translate engineering designs into a manufacturable, sourceable, and scalable production plan. You will be the person who ensures that all functional groups stay in lockstep.What You'll Do<ul><li>Own end-to-end program execution for IQ SST, driving the product through the complete development lifecycle — design, validation, pilot builds, and volume ramp — on schedule and within budget.</li><li>Serve as the primary bridge between Engineering (HW/SW/firmware), Procurement, and Manufacturing, translating technical requirements into sourcing and production plans and surfacing manufacturing/supply constraints back into design decisions early.</li><li>Build and maintain the integrated program schedule across engineering milestones, component qualification, supplier lead times, tooling, and production ramp.</li><li>Partner with Procurement to drive component sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and qualification for a high-volume, semiconductor-heavy bill of materials, including domestic/US manufacturing considerations.</li><li>Partner with Manufacturing/Operations to plan and execute pilot and production line readiness, including line balancing, yield ramp, and capacity planning for large-scale module production.</li><li>Identify, track, and drive resolution of cross-functional risks and dependencies (design changes, part shortages, tooling delays, compliance/regulatory holds) before they impact schedule.</li><li>Provide regular program status, dashboards, and executive-level updates, clearly communicating trade-offs, risks, and decisions to senior leadership.</li><li>Facilitate cross-functional design reviews, build readiness reviews, and change management processes to keep Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing aligned on scope and timing.</li><li>Ensure compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements (including relevant grid, safety, and data center standards) are integrated into the program plan from the outset.</li><li>Champion process improvements and tooling (dashboards, automation) to scale program execution as IQ SST moves from pilot to gigawatt-scale volume.</li><li>Drive productive uses of AI within the project to reduce overhead on the team</li></ul>What You Bring<ul><li>7+ years of experience as a Program Manager or Technical Program Manager delivering complex, high-quality hardware/software products from development through volume manufacturing, ideally in power electronics, energy storage, solar, or other high-volume hardware systems.</li><li>Proven experience managing programs through the full product lifecycle, including NPI and the transition from engineering prototypes to high-volume production.</li><li>Direct experience bridging Engineering and Operations/Procurement — you're equally comfortable in a design review and a supplier negotiation, and you know how to translate between the two.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of hardware development lifecycles, embedded systems/firmware development, and electro-mechanical product introduction.</li><li>Experience with supply chain and procurement fundamentals: supplier qualification, sourcing strategy, component lead times, and BOM cost management for complex, high-volume hardware.</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing ramp planning: line readiness, yield management, and capacity scaling for large-scale production.</li><li>Familiarity with compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements relevant to power electronics and/or data center infrastructure.</li><li>Exceptional executive communication skills — written, verbal, and via dashboards/status reporting — with the ability to drive clarity and alignment across technical and business stakeholders.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead high-velocity, cross-functional programs with significant external dependencies (suppliers, contract manufacturers, customers/partners) and to drive decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of program management tools and methodologies (PMP certification or equivalent a plus); comfortable operating in both waterfall and Agile/hybrid environments.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related technical field; advanced degree a plus.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with utility scale electrical equipment development and/or production</li><li>Experience launching a new hardware platform into a new market segment (e.g., entering data center/industrial infrastructure from an adjacent industry).</li><li>Experience with domestic/US manufacturing scale-up and related sourcing considerations.</li><li>Background working with large external partners (hyperscale customers, contract manufacturers, or component suppliers) on co-development or qualification programs.</li><li>Experience using automation, scripting, or dashboards to manage program data at scale.</li></ul>The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $226,800 per year and may vary based on experience, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for equity, and benefits, with final compensation determined in accordance with applicable laws and internal equity.
