This role combines hands-on assembly with HVAC and brazing work, playing a crucial part in aviation infrastructure worldwide. Expect a team-oriented setting where technical skills meet continuous improvement. Your Impact: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. <ul><li>Assemble piping, mechanical parts, and electrical components for PCA systems following engineering drawings, blueprints, and detailed instructions </li><li>Perform brazing and plumbing tasks to connect HVAC systems and copper assemblies </li><li>Set up and perform testing and troubleshooting of built PCA units </li><li>Verify work quality and make corrections based on schematics and procedures </li><li>Use basic hand tools, power tools, and test equipment as needed </li><li>Maintain documentation and complete work order entries in systems like ProPlanner </li><li>Support process improvements and training of new team members </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications <ul><li>6 months or more of relevant experience OR high school diploma or equivalent education </li><li>Capable of performing brazing tasks or willing to complete company-provided certification training </li><li>Familiarity with basic measurement tools and safety procedures </li><li>May require the ability to obtain forklift or overhead crane certification depending on assignment </li></ul>Standout Qualifications <ul><li>HVAC Certification or prior experience with mechanical/electrical systems </li><li>Experience with ProPlanner or other production tracking systems </li><li>Associates Degree in Mechanics, Electro-Mechanics, or equivalent. </li></ul>Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
