This position supports production operations by identifying root causes of failures, performing corrective actions, and documenting repair activities.</p><p></p><h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2><p>Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic assemblies, circuit cards, and systems using schematics, drawings, specifications, and test equipment.</li><li>Perform component-level repairs on printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies.</li><li>Repair production and customer-returned products in accordance with established procedures and quality requirements.</li><li>Analyze failures and determine corrective actions to restore product functionality.</li><li>Document repair activities, findings, and disposition of products in manufacturing systems and repair records.</li><li>Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production personnel to resolve product issues.</li><li>Identify recurring failure trends and recommend process improvements.</li><li>Follow workmanship standards, ESD requirements, and quality procedures.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action activities.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all safety policies and procedures.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</p><h3>Education and Experience</h3><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Minimum of 0-5 years of electronics troubleshooting, repair, or manufacturing experience preferred.</li><li>Experience repairing electronic and circuit card assemblies preferred.</li></ul><h3>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h3><ul><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.</li><li>Knowledge of electronic components and circuit functionality.</li><li>Ability to perform soldering and rework to IPC standards.</li><li>Working knowledge of electronic test equipment and measurement tools.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit;">  </p><p style="text-align:left !important;">Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
