As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring employees have reliable, efficient, and secure technology solutions that enable business success.In this role, you will provide technical support, manage service requests, maintain IT equipment and applications, and deliver an exceptional end-user experience. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organization to resolve issues, improve services, and support technology initiatives that drive productivity and operational excellence.Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide technical support for hardware, software, systems, and connectivity issues while delivering a high level of customer service.</li><li>Manage IT service requests and incidents through resolution, ensuring timely response and adherence to service expectations.</li><li>Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade end-user devices, applications, and related technology equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders to support projects, resolve complex issues, and implement service improvements.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventories, and service records to support operational effectiveness and compliance.</li><li>Analyze service trends and user feedback to identify opportunities that improve service quality, efficiency, and user experience.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support, or IT service delivery.</li><li>Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.</li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), ITIL Foundation, or similar industry certification.</li><li>Experience supporting enterprise IT environments, hybrid workforces, or global organizations - manufacturing industry highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with IT service management tools, IT ticketing systems. asset management systems, and endpoint management technologies.</li></ul></div>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
