As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee day-to-day activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions.</li><li>Maintain fixed asset register and prepare monthly depreciation journal entries</li><li>Participate in month/quarter/year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.</li><li>File periodic tax returns (Sales and Use, Unsecured property)</li><li>Evaluate, document and improve internal controls and accounting processes</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance financial operations</li><li>Develop and coach small team of direct reports inclusive of employee reviews, goal setting and training.</li><li>Perform ad hoc reviews and analysis, as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field</li><li>4+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (LOOKUP, pivot tables).</li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards</li><li>Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting software.</li><li>Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.</li></ul>In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Relays requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).Please note the salary range posted is a general guideline for this job level and location.
