We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location. Scope of Job: The Senior EPC Project Manager (Sr. EPC PM) is responsible for leading EPC execution activities in accordance with EDFR’s safety, quality, and management standards, for Utility-Scale Solar, On-Shore Wind, and Energy Storage Projects within EDFR’s portfolio. They will work with cross-functional teams and subject-matter-experts to manage EPC contractors from contractor selection, through execution, completion and project handover, and support advanced stage project development activities such as EPC services procurement and contracting. <h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>EPC Project Execution <ul> <li>Manage the implementation of the EPC contract and the project execution plan.</li> <li>Manage and work closely with the EDF site team, internal and external subject matter experts.</li> <li>Accountable for project safety, quality, budget, and schedule control.</li> <li>Lead or participate in day-to-day coordination activities (Plan-of-day meetings, monthly meetings, engineering meetings).</li> <li>Accountable for implementation of transport and logistics plan with respect to Owner Provided Equipment.</li> <li>Accountable for Testing and Commissioning plan preparation and implementation.</li> <li>Perform project close-out activities, such as claims settlement, lessons learned, cost and schedule analysis.</li> </ul></li> <li>EPC Contracting <ul> <li>Accountable for negotiation of technical and commercial contract exhibits.</li> <li>Coordinate internal exhibits review with subject matter experts.</li> <li>Contribute to negotiation of the EPC contract.</li> </ul></li> <li>EPC Services Procurement <ul> <li>Support RFP Bid evaluation and contractors’ selection.</li> </ul></li> <li>Continuous Improvement Initiatives:  <ul> <li>Contribute to or lead initiatives such as improving processes and developing tools. </li> <li>Evaluate feasibility and impact of LCOE reduction initiatives.</li> <li>Evaluate and incorporate lessons learned.                                 </li> </ul></li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Supervision of Others: 1-2 direct, 5-7 indirect.Working Conditions: Approximately 80% of the time is spent in the office environment, using computers (frequent use of MS Office Suite), phones, and general office equipment. Approximately 20% of the time is spent in the field nationally and internationally, visiting projects, evaluating sites, and meeting project team members and various stakeholders.Fiscal Responsibilities: EPC Budget<h2>Qualifications</h2>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul> <li>Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience including comprehensive and diversified knowledge of the construction industry, renewables EPC market, including knowledge of renewables industry best management practices, codes, standards, and engineering principles.</li> <li>Extensive experience working and negotiating with EPC Contractors on contracts exceeding $100M.</li> <li>Experience executing projects in accordance with project management principles.</li> <li>Experience working in cross-functional organization structure.</li> <li>Experience leading a project execution team.</li></ul>Education:<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent.</li></ul>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:<ul> <li>Strong negotiation and communication skills with counterparties of varied interests and levels of technical and business expertise.</li> <li>Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with geographically disperse, cross functional team members (i.e., engineering, construction, program management, developers, etc.)</li> <li>Adaptability to changing market conditions and shifting business priorities.</li> <li>Knowledge of renewable power plant design (electrical, civil, etc.)</li> <li>Knowledge of renewable energy project offtake and financing structures.</li> <li>Knowledge of national and regional regulatory environment.</li> <li>Highly motivated, self-starter, ability to work well with others and be a good team player.</li> <li>Proficiency in English (spoken and written), and with MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, Power Point).</li></ul>Physical Requirements: <ul> <li>Ability to sit, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, visit job sites.</li></ul>
