Climatebase is a platform for climate action, education, and impact.
Our platform — which is accessible to anyone as a free public benefit — empowers the global climate community with the most comprehensive directories for climate jobs, organizations, and events.
1) Our jobs directory connects people with employment and volunteer opportunities at organizations working to solve the climate crisis.
2) Our directory of organizations shines light on the diverse ecosystem of companies and nonprofits developing, researching, funding, and advocating for climate solutions.
3) Our events directory aims to support climate education and action, by empowering people to attend any climate events streaming from around the world.
We also offer a Talent Directory for climate-focused organizations to access for recruiting purposes. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more.
Our mission is to help mobilize humanity to solve the climate crisis and create a low-carbon, planet-positive future we want.
After getting introduced to Project Drawdown’s groundbreaking publication of the top 100 climate solutions, Climatebase co-founder Evan Hynes found himself asking, “Who’s working on these solutions? And who’s hiring?”.
What first began as a spreadsheet, then evolved into the world’s first climate career fair — which then evolved into a website called Climate.Careers, now known as Climatebase. Since January 2020, we’ve served tens-of-thousands of people driven to use their careers as a vehicle to drive climate impact.
This is just the beginning. We have more on the way. If you’re interested in partnering with us, supporting our work, or joining our team, let us know!
Justin leads software engineering. In his free time, Justin can be found staying fit by Lake Merrit with a smoothie in his hand.
Evan leads partnerships, growth, and strategy. A social butterfly, he can be found flapping his wings around the Bay.
Jamie works on product and leads design. On weekends, she can be found hiking the wilderness or making drawings.
Yassine is our backend engineer. Outside of work, he can be found jamming out on the mountain or at the beach, munching on a PB&J.
