Role Description
Join a growing team to help build and scale our People Operations function from end to end!  Our People Operations team provides the resources, guidance and support all Form Energy employees need to excel.  A successful individual in this role will help define the trajectory of People Operations and will play a critical role in the building and scaling of the function.
This role can sit in our Boston MA or Berkeley CA office.


What You'll Do:

  • Act as a strategic business partner to company leaders.
  • Advise managers on employee relations concerns and performance management.
  • Respond to all questions regarding benefits, performance, company programs and policies.
  • Serve as an administrator for our HR information system (BambooHR), keeping data up to date and managing regular headcount reporting.
  • Support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts and help shape the future of the DE&I program.
  • Facilitate processes for employee engagement survey and action planning, performance reviews, promotions and annual benefits enrollment.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvements to People Operations work to improve effectiveness of the function and increase employee satisfaction.
  • Manage onboarding process for new hires. Conduct exit interviews and facilitate offboarding.
  • Develop and deliver trainings on management topics and people-related processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Five (5) years of HR experience in fast growing organizations
  • Familiarity with employment law and best practices (experience with California labor laws is a plus) 
  • Resilience to change, comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally
  • An inquisitive mindset and comfort with business operations
