What We're Looking For
Today, Novi works with hundreds of the fastest-growing beauty and personal care brands, several major retailers, and several top global CPGs. We’ve found a strong fit with our formulation tools and are seeing growing traction for our marketplace of sustainable ingredients and packaging. The industry we're tackling is fragmented and complicated, and the value we can bring is enormous. 
A key ingredient for Novi to realize that potential will be how well we activate and align our teams to reach brands and manufacturers trying to build sustainable products, support those users across their product development journey, and iterate and improve on our approach.  
That’s why we’re looking to hire a seasoned “Biz Ops” leader, reporting to our VP of GTM & Strategy, to:

• Work with functional GTM team members (Marketing, Sales, CS, and Analytics) to dissect our  acquisition funnel and customer journey, identifying opportunities to shift resourcing to deliver a higher-converting, more retentive experience 
• Drive continued simplification of our operating model, including alignment of team-based metrics across the business 
• Proactively identify high-leverage opportunities to better use our resources to deliver impact to our customers and the planet
• Be a close strategic partner to our VP of GTM & Strategy in evolving our GTM/Growth strategy, and the go-to lieutenant for future “strategy & operations” projects like competitive analysis, market entry evaluations, pricing recommendations, etc

About You

• 5+ years experience in highly strategic roles, ideally in a combination of management/strategy consulting and operational roles at growth stage companies
• Strong cross-functional leader, with a track record of working and influencing effectively across multiple functions and seniority levels, including executives
• Fluency in data analysis, with an uncanny ability to recognize patterns in incomplete and ambiguous datasets 
• Track record of influential data-driven storytelling to a variety of stakeholders
• Bias towards applying fresh, first-principles solutions to complex business problems
• Comfort in a high-growth environment where the playbook is still being written
• Experience leading and delivering projects with a sense of ownership and self-accountability
