Role DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced individual in the test and development area to help us develop our core technology by joining our growing validation test team. You will focus on overseeing the product qualification testing including safety and compliance, both in house and with 3rd party test houses. you will work with reliability and core technology teams to define and execute design validation plan activities to meet various electrical, mechanical and electrochemical performance specifications

What You'll Do:

  • Working closely with reliability & compliance teams, you will develop, manage and execute the test requirements for qualifying our product
  • Writing and maintaining a variety of electrical and electrochemical test scripts across multiple battery cycling machines 
  • Identify potential risks for safety execution through design reviews, and manage the prioritization of tests in line with FMEA processes
  • Document and record test results, working with design engineers to provide recommended solutions for issue mitigation and resolution

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in product qualification testing (system as well as component level tests)
  • Experience setting up NVH/HALT/ Extreme environment tests and compiling test reports
  • Familiarly with standards such as UL (1973, 9540, 9540A preferred) 
  • Familiarity with testing script and execution tools such as LabView
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and/or MATLab
  • Basic laboratory safety knowledge
  • Experience using cloud based organizational tools
  • Strong communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization
  • Positive attitude and appetite to learn and grow within our organization
  • High attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to share ideas to contribute to organizational and technical problem solving

The salary range for this role is $104,880-$129,375. The range listed is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
