Purpose Driven Position

The objective of this role is to work side by side with the Logistics Manager to ensure seamless transporting of goods as well as helping to ensure the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout the organization. Working in a dynamic, high growth environment is fun, however the big picture is more important.  As a CarbonCure team member you are joining the fight against climate change; representing a patented technology proven to reduce the carbon footprint of the concrete industry. About You

• Previous experience working in logistics is considered an asset 
• Previous hands-on experience in shipping/receiving 
• Able to lift ~60 lbs 
• Ability to prepare purchase orders, request and review quotes and order confirmations
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
• Ability to produce quality work within tight deadlines, and comfortable working in a highly variable environment typical with start-up companies
• Detail-oriented with a passion for getting the job done
• Excellent communication skills; able to take direction, ask questions when needed and efficiently communicate relevant updates to other teams
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
•  Be a Self-Starter – able to create procedures as required and work with minimal supervision

What you'll be doing

• Ensuring safe and timely pickup and delivery of shipments 
• Communicate constraints and delays in shipments to multiple stakeholders
• Reviewing quotes preparing purchase orders 
• Addressing and resolving shipment issues in a timely manner 
• Supporting the logistics manager with the use of our online inventory tools
• Assist with process improvements where/as needed
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate equipment and cement sampling shipping and ensure all documentation requirements are met
• Assisting with packing of Carboncure CO2 Liquid Injection Systems and replacement parts 
• Provide support to source equivalent components for alternative suppliers according to technical specifications provided
• Following internal procedures and suggesting areas for improvement specific to ordering, shipping, inventory and receiving processes to optimize for accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure the safe arrival of shipped goods to destination by tracking and resolving as required
• Planning, organizing, and implementing effective strategies using company programs, tools, and initiatives
  
  

Work Environment

• Full time, permanent position
• High functioning team dedicated to our customers and producing high quality output
• Hours are flexible, but a minimum of eight (8) hours Monday to Friday is required
• Fail fast mentality typical with start-up companies
