Job title: Senior Technical Writer
Location: London/Bristol/Edinburgh (including hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000
Kaluza wants to power a world where net-zero is within everyone’s reach, by building the platform that will accelerate a sustainable, affordable and resilient energy transition. It’s a huge challenge, but often the toughest problems are the most rewarding to solve.
Since launching in 2019, Kaluza’s technology has been empowering some of the biggest energy suppliers to better serve millions of customers.
From revolutionising billing to smart electric vehicle charging, our real-time cloud platforms transform supplier operations, reducing cost to serve and boosting engagement. And most importantly, they enable suppliers' customers to drive decarbonisation with smart, low carbon technologies.
Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?
Our technical writers shape complex ideas, processes and technology into simple language within our documentation, guides and specifications. They are part of the Platform Design Team, and operate across Kaluza either by embedding in product teams, like our Developer Documentation team, or working on cross-cutting initiatives such as creating our Product Specification. We’re looking for a Technical Writer who can deliver pristine, accurate and effective documentation that helps our users, e.g. software engineers, product managers, external developers, to perform their jobs.
You will set the highest standards for technical writing across the organisation and ensure all our product teams have the documentation support they need. This could be product-related – microcopy, product launches and technical documentation (APIs and GraphQL) – or for pitches, people policies, contracts, training manuals and specifications.
