Job Description

We are looking for a Global Supply Manager (GSM) supporting our Capital Equipment spend. The GSM manages all company business with a group of current and prospective suppliers and is the main internal interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance teams. The GSM will develop a deep understanding of their domain and continuously develop supplier alternatives who are able to support our growing capacity requirements.

You will be based at our office in Natick, MA, and report to our Director of Global Supply Chain.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work to identify supplier alternatives with the right capabilities and qualifications to meet our expectations and growing capacity needs
  • Collect the necessary data internally to effectively communicate externally via RFQs, then review and analyze to document potential supplier's offerings and capabilities. Additionally, gather other commercial information that is material to sourcing decisions
  • Work with suppliers to ensure transparent cost breakdowns and landed costs
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests with Manufacturing when needed
  • Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers on General Terms & Conditions and project Statements Of Work
  • Travel, as needed, to visit suppliers and company sites to perform business and program reviews (20-25%)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related field. MBA or Master's is preferred.
  • 6+ years in purchasing, buying, or procurement in a technical environment
  • Demonstrated experience making data-driven decisions with incomplete information
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar analytical tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Product launch experience
  • Previous work in a start-up environment

Compensation & Benefits

Global Supply Manager - Capital Equipment (P4):

$116,000$155,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
