Job Description

Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to make molecules to decarbonize our world! Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels. 

We're looking for a contract administrator who enjoys building efficient, user-friendly contract management systems from the ground up, can manage the processing of a large volume of commercial and procurement agreements, and can enforce compliance with processes in a supportive way.

You will be based in San Carlos, CA and will work on a hybrid basis. You will report to the Chief Legal Officer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create scalable processes to help legal and business teams process, review, and manage different legal documentation related to sales, procurement, compliance, intellectual property, regulatory, and other legal matters
  • Work with our commercial and procurement teams to implement a contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform
  • Participate in review and revision of vendor and procurement contracts
  • Design, manage contract approval process
  • Maintain metrics and create reports related to contract processing and contract compliance
  • Assist government affairs team with information tracking and distribution

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working with contracts in an in-house environment
  • Experience technical systems and tools utilized by in-house law departments, including CLM products and processes
  • Experience with workflow automation tools, project and task management tools, and other information management platforms (experience with SharePoint, Monday.com, and other similar platforms)
  • Ability to interface with diverse commercial, engineering, policy, and procurement stakeholders across the company
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, drafting capability, and ability to drive operational excellence in a legal department focused on supporting long-term business success

Compensation

San Carlos Zone
$110,000$146,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
