Where in the world of OVO will I be working?

The Senior Partnerships Campaign Manager will be an experienced brand communications specialist who will be responsible for improving the full potential of OVO’s strategic business partnerships across a multi-channel approach, driving positive awareness and consideration for the OVO brand to a mass consumer audience.  

With an ambition to make OVO the most positively-talked about energy brand in the UK, you will have the understanding, vision and skill to fully leverage both new and existing brand partnerships across the business in order to tell our brand story and reach and engage with consumer audiences across a variety of channels, driving a greater understanding amongst OVO’s core audience of our brand values and the role we can play in their lives, alongside our core products and services. 

Reporting into the Head of Brand PR & Partnerships and working closely alongside the brand advertising, communications, sustainability and commercial development teams, you will work to develop a fully integrated and coordinated partnership campaigns strategy, fully leveraging our strategic comms partners to demonstrate measurable ROI and positively shift our brand objectives. 

You will take a lead role in improving the value and opportunities present within OVO’s broad range of partners across the business; From our corporate comms, sustainability or vulnerability partners through to our charitable arm The OVO Foundation, our tree planting partners (The Woodland Trust and The Conservation Volunteers) through to our green living and zero carbon living tech and innovation partners within Commercial Development. 

Your role will be to seek out untold stories and opportunities for the OVO brand, working with relationship leads across the business - as well as our partners - to develop creative and innovative campaigns which bring brand partnerships story to life across a multi-channel approach, from owned brand channels to PR, content creation, influencer and paid social. 

Note: You will not be responsible for being the lead point of contact for every partner relationship (or for overseeing & managing the delivery of each partnership), but you will lead the creation, development and execution of brand campaigns which leverage those partnerships to their full potential in order to reach and influence consumer audiences.

With a proven track record in consumer brand storytelling & content creation, you will be driven to deliver innovative, world-class PR and brand campaigns that drive mass market brand fame for OVO Energy.

This person will play a key role in building OVO to be one of the most iconic brands of the decade.

What will I be doing?

  • Develop and implement OVO’s partnerships below-the-line comms & campaigns strategy that delivers against OVO’s brand OKRs - positive brand awareness and consideration
  • Responsible for delivering a positive increase in brand share of voice and positive sentiment in earned, editorial coverage, social reach and engagement, in line with Communications team objectives 
  • Development and execution of OVO’s partnership campaign activation plan across all relevant and campaignable brand partnerships
  • Identify, develop and execute partnership campaign opportunities from around the business, which can deliver against OVO brand & communications OKRs as part of the broader brand comms strategy 
  • Build close relationships with key stakeholders across different functions within OVO, from communications, sustainability and vulnerability teams to growth, acquisition and commercial development, in order to seek out new and existing campaignable partnerships that help bring our brand story and platform to life.   
  • Manage retained PR and social agency support to help build and execute campaign activation plans 
  • Work closely with external brand marcomms stakeholders across ATL brand, corporate affairs / communications and the broader business to develop campaign activation plans, align messaging, timings and develop core assets. 
  • Work closely with the social content and studio teams using our partnership campaigns to help shape and inform OVO’s content strategy.
  • Work with external partner brands, companies and organisations to develop unexpected and culturally rich partnerships which lend themselves to BTL storytelling and campaigning across a multichannel, integrated approach. 
  • Develop KPIs and continually measure all activity with objective results linked to measurable ROI, improving performance, pivoting programmes where change is needed.

We’ll pay you between £55,370 and £86,370, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us! We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.

You may be eligible for an on-target bonus. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
