PUR is recruiting a Program Manager based in South East Asia.

As part of the Program’s team working with various sectors, the successful candidate will report to the Senior Program Manager in Singapore and be one of the lead industry contacts for PUR corporate partners based in South East Asia.

As a key member of the Program team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of its business development strategy and will manage various existing client relationships for projects based in Indonesia.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Account Management for a major Industry & Services client in Indonesia in the implementation of an agroforestry and restoration project, acting as key business partner, working closely with the field team to provide expected deliverables such as operational reporting. The role will also encompass account management for other clients with other commodities as the region grows.

• Business Development: Supporting the strategic growth for specific commodities in South East Asia; developing proposals for new and existing clients; designing project concepts; meeting Industry needs and targets for climate and procurement strategies.

• Sector Knowledge: Conducting research and reviewing Industry standards and certifications, sectoral initiatives, national and international policies, supply chains trends, environmental tools and mechanisms.

• Partnership and representation : Represent PUR publicly at conferences, in meetings with existing and potential clients and the Indonesian Government when needed.

You have demonstrated excellent commercial and sustainable project management skills in consulting firms or in the Industry & Services sector,

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in business development and/or management of international projects in the Industry & Services sector.

• Relevant experience in South East Asia (including Indonesia).

• Master Degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields including but not limited to sustainability, agriculture or international development. Any academic experience related to regenerative agriculture practices is seen as a plus.

• Experience related to nature based solutions; agroforestry projects, restoration projects, climate, social and environmental policy and/or corporate social responsibility.

• Professional fluency in English and Bahasa.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
