Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Partnerships to join our dynamic team. As the Head of Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in helping GHGSat grow and fulfill its ambitions. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and cultivate strong relationships with strategic partners and build a robust reseller network for our innovative methane emissions monitoring solutions. This role requires a combination of business development, relationship management, and leadership skills to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Partnership Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to build a strong reseller network for our satellite-based methane emissions monitoring solutions
  • Identify potential partners, resellers, and distributors in target markets and industries.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align partnership initiatives with overall business objectives

2. Partner Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key partners, resellers, and distributors.
  • Collaborate with partners to define joint value propositions, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and resources to partners to ensure their success in selling and promoting our products.
  • Monitor and evaluate partner performance, providing regular feedback and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.

3. Business Development:

  • Drive revenue growth by expanding our reseller network and increasing market penetration.
  • Identify and negotiate new partnership opportunities, including distribution agreements, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns in collaboration with partners to generate leads and close deals.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product and business development strategies.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of partnership initiatives.
  • Ensure the network works as an extension of GHGSat's direct sales force to augment its reach and effectiveness.
  • Provide input and feedback to product development teams based on partner and customer insights.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop co-marketing programs and collateral to support partner initiatives.


5. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of partnership programs.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on partnership activities, progress, and results for executive leadership and stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully building and managing partnerships, reseller networks, or distribution channels.
  • Experience in the environmental or sustainability industry, with a focus on emissions monitoring or related fields, is highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and execute partnership strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
