Creative Design and Web Development Intern

About Us: Tuesdays for Trash (T4T) is an environmental organization dedicated to promoting waste reduction and management through community-driven initiatives. We work with local chapters across various regions to implement effective waste management practices, educate communities, and advocate for sustainable policies.

Position Overview: Creatively design and maintain webpages for the movement interface, social media and each T4T chapter, including updating event information, resources, blogs, educational resources, contact details and ideating new and engaging toolkits. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.

Requirements:

• Hours: 5-10 hours per week
• Location: Remote
• Qualifications:
  • Unique style and eye for creativty
  • Proficiency in web development platforms such as squarespace and Canva
  • Experience with web design preferred
  • Good communication skills--english preferred
  • Pay attention to detail and be dedicated to producing quality work
  • Possess strong writing/proofreading skills
  • Be self-motivated and be able to work well under minimal supervision
  • Can take constructive criticism and make improvements based on recommendations
