Back End Developer

This is an opportunity to bring real change to the world and help stop the acceleration of climate change. We are bringing the farming world into a data-driven future, to reverse soil degradation, reduce chemical overuse, and reduce the carbon footprint of farmers.
To expedite change, we are looking for an experienced backend developer to join our ranks. You will be working with professional and talented people and get to help real people - farmers - while fixing the environment.

Our CTO Andres, who has been with us for nearly 6 years, will be your manager for this position. We can best describe him as a hands-on leader, with a passion for people, which shows in his team's high scores for employee satisfaction. Must-haves

• strong experience with back-end architecture and databases
• experience with automated testing
• a problem-solving aptitude and a need to get things done
• experience with either Ruby-on-Rails or Elixir (ideally both)
• fluency in English
