Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to make molecules to decarbonize our world! Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels. 

We are looking for a Corporate Controller to be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, safeguarding our assets, managing audits successfully, and driving accounting efficiency. You will work onsite, preferably at our Devens gigafactory or at our offices in Natick, MA. You will report to the Director of Finance.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial close timely to produce accurate monthly GAAP financial statements
  • Research significant technical accounting for new, unique, and/or complex transactions and be the subject matter expert on revenue, inventory, and manufacturing accounting
  • Ensure asset tracking (fixed assets, inventory, R&D builds, and customer assets) processes are working as needed for GAAP financials as well as internal reporting
  • Establish a strong control environment to safeguard our assets, particularly over cash, inventory (Including precious metals), equipment, and supplies
  • Own accounting policies and procedures to drive accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and transparency in accounting
  • Issue monthly financial reports to various stakeholders
  • Manage the financial statement “Big 4” audit
  • Deliver actionable production and deployment analyses as well as other ad hoc analysis
  • Lead enhancements of our ERP and other platforms (procure-to-pay, manufacturing execution system, etc.)
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Manufacturing Operations, Deployment, Supply Chain and Procurement and other departments to assist with budgeting, resource (inventory and labor) planning, and efforts to improve supply chain resiliency and costs
  • Direct, train, and coach accounting team

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing accounting experience with sound knowledge of inventory management, procure-to-pay, cost accounting, bill of materials, production planning, and work orders
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience and with multiple reporting entities, including subsidiaries, international subs, and joint ventures
  • US GAAP proficiency
  • 3+ years in national or “Big 4” CPA firm in an assurance or advisory role
  • Experience with ERP systems including analyzing current capabilities and leading necessary changes, preferably MS Dynamics Business Central
  • Foundational knowledge of business intelligence platforms, such as Power BI
  • Certified Public Accountant in the US

$123,250$165,750 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
