Role Overview:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing both new and existing data enrichment workstreams, including Asset, Benchmark, Risk, Diversity, and Emissions data services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex data into actionable insights, supporting key business decisions and the continuous improvement of our data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data extraction, cleaning, enrichment, analysis, and QA of large datasets.
Develop and implement rules-based logic by analyzing data patterns to automate processes and derive actionable insights
Support the development and enhancement of our product data warehouses, preparin and enriching data to enhance data insights.
Support the group’s data workstreams in Benchmark, Asset, Risk, Diversity, and Emissions as needed.
Collaborate in an Agile team environment to drive continuous improvement of our products and processes.
Create compelling marketing materials and contribute to product demonstrations to support the sales process and showcase our solutions.
Engage with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client presentations and product pitches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business Analytics, or Supply Chain Management related)
2-4 years of experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, or related roles, preferably in the Energy sector (Utility or O&G)
Strong proficiency in data management and enrichment techniques used for handling large datasets
Comprehensive understanding of data architecture, including knowledge of relational databases, experience with complex table joins, and transformation expressions
Robust analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, particularly in data validation and quality assurance processes, consistently able to identify and resolve data inconsistencies
Familiarity with ETL processes and data visualization tools used in supply chain reporting
Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in addressing supply chain challenges
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex supply chain insights to diverse audiences
Self-motivated, results-driven individual with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred candidate also has experience in one or more:
Understanding of supply chain operations and familiarity with utility or O&G assets and their management (e.g., solar plants, hydro plants, oil/gas wells).
Experience with data-driven benchmarking or performance metrics in supply chain contexts
Involvement with supplier performance evaluation and risk assessment methodologies
Experience working with supplier diversity programs or initiatives
