About this opportunity

This role will primarily revolve around supporting the selling of the Viscount Intellicrate®, Nally Folding Megabin®, Nally Megabin® and other existing products and services within the Viscount Reuse range to new and existing Victorian and Tasmanian based customers. This includes developing markets and opportunities in external customers and within industries such as fresh produce, protein, and other market segments.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and assist product penetration to new and existing customers and markets.
  • Establish long lasting relationships with fresh produce growers, poultry and other protein suppliers based in VIC & TAS.
  • Review and assist with the establishment of appropriate strategy positioning of selling price, selling structure and gross contribution.
  • Developing new business by generating, following up leads and initiating customer contact.
  • Forecasting and working closely with operations and customer service to ensure supply continuity
  • Participation, development and contribution toward market research and intelligence.
  • Support the implementation of new products and services.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • 5 Years’ experience in a sales based role within the supply chain, packaging or produce industry.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate, present, assert and speak to all levels of stakeholders involved.
  • Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders to build relationships, influence, manage conflicts and navigate through issues arising.
  • Ability to plan and manage projects, manage the risk, forecast, time and teams working on ongoing projects
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills
  • High competency working with Microsoft Office, SAP and CRM software.
  • Understanding how the circular underpins everything we do and selling this message internally and externally as part of the company values and personal ethos.
