Our Pact Packaging division is pioneering a whole of product life cycle approach to sustainable packaging. Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.

We are now seeking an experienced Store person to come and work as part of the operational team to ensure the efficient running of the Industrial Products and Packaging warehouse.

About the role:

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:  

  • Picking and processing distribution orders including computer generated freight documentation
  • Stock control movements via RF scanner
  • Loading / Unloading trucks and containers
  • Stock takes and cycle counts
  • Excellent Housekeeping
  • Health and Safety

 

About you:

We require someone with knowledge of warehouse and distribution tasks with a clear understanding of inventory accuracy and the skills to operate the computer systems required. A strong focus on teamwork and health and safety especially with regard to operating forklifts

Key skills and experience

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
  • Extensive experience driving a forklift, including loading and unloading trucks
  • Valid forklift license
  • Experience in inwards / outwards goods and general distribution processes
  • Demonstration of understanding and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Experience with MRP system/preferably SAP
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
