About Us

Isometric is a carbon removal registry. We issue the world’s most scientifically rigorous carbon credits to help Fortune 100 companies tackle climate change and prevent greenwashing.

We're growing quickly, but we’re intentional about hiring people who contribute to our unique culture. Our team is smart, meticulous and courageous—but warm, kind and supportive too.

We’re led by Eamon Jubbawy, an experienced CEO who previously co-founded Onfido, the world’s leading AI-powered identity verification platform. He scaled the company to $100m+ in revenue—verifying over half a billion identities and catching 23 million fraudsters—before selling the company for $650m. Eamon started Isometric in 2022 to bring the same level of rigorous fraud prevention, confidence and trust to the carbon removal industry.

The wider Isometric team includes scientists from Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, MIT, Yale and Stanford—and technologists from companies like Amazon, Shopify, Meta, Google, Wise and Palantir.

We’re backed by world-class investors with real-world experience in climate change and company building: Lowercarbon Capital and Plural.

Join us if you're ready to take on a career-defining role. Working here will be unlike any job you've had before!

About the role

Lead Isometric’s UK and EU policy efforts as a European Policy Manager in our Growth function. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive strategic initiatives, advocate for effective regulations and foster key relationships to advance our mission. Help us pave the way for a sustainable future.

You will…

  • Develop the strategy for bringing about policy changes in pursuit of Isometric’s mission.

  • Advocate for Isometric’s policy priorities in Europe and bring about effective regulation of this critical (and currently unregulated) industry.

  • Write briefs on carbon removal policy for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Lead Isometric’s engagement with key policymakers, government and NGO stakeholders who are shaping the future of CDR policy in Europe.

  • Support cross-cutting international CDR policy efforts, including Article 6 (UNFCCC), and Isometric’s membership in accreditation and compliance schemes (e.g. CORSIA).

You have…

  • Policy experience (3+ years) as a policymaker or lobbyist.

  • Significant experience working in a start-up or other fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Policy expertise in carbon removal or an adjacent field is highly desirable.

  • Eagerness to learn and teach others about policy in carbon removal and storage. We are science-driven and building technology that relies on clear internal and external communication of complex concepts.

  • Good energy and humility.

This role might not be for you if...

  • You’re looking for a fully remote role at the moment. In the early stages of building our product we’re optimising for being physically together three days a week.

  • You enjoy structure and only staying within your area of expertise. We’re a small team early on the journey and things change quickly as we learn more.

  • You prefer a slower pace. While the problem we’re facing has a long time horizon, it’s also critical that we make meaningful progress on it today, not next quarter or year.
