What you do:

  • Support strategic decision making: Support the CEO and the Board in high-level strategy.
  • Drive a culture of high performance: help embed the processes, practices, and reinforcement to drive a high performance culture.
  • Oversee daily operations and manage key performance measures: Manage day to day operations, implement processes to improve operational performance, and provide regular reports for the CEO and the leadership team.
  • CEO support: Act as a key advisor and support to the CEO allowing the CEO to focus on high-level strategic initiatives, external relationships, and overall vision.
  • Financial oversight: Manage budgeting, forecasting and cashflows, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organisation.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Direct enabling operational functions: Oversee finance, HR, legal, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A Master’s Degree or MBA strongly preferred
  • Professional certifications, such as Project Management
  • Professional (PMP) or Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of executive experience
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Understanding of advanced business planning
  • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues
  • A track record of building and elevating effective teams
  • Ability to translate vision and strategy into implementation plans
