Reporting to the Head of Sales – Household and Industrial Packaging, you will be responsible for procuring feedstock (Post-Industrial packaging) and building the customer base in Victoria. Your flexibility, and agility to negotiate from the strategic, to the day to day will be key to your success in this diverse sales role.

With a proven aptitude in sales and operational planning, you will work closely with the site to coordinate and manage the process with new vendors, communicate levels of demand vs supply with operations and implement robust plans to maintain quality of incoming feedstock (Post-Industrial packaging).

Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Liaise and coordinate with site operations to ensure demand is delivered
  • Identify and cultivate market opportunities to develop, grow and convert to a strong sales pipeline
  • Manage end to end process including commercial discussions and preparation of sales proposals
  • Provide monthly reports on procurement gains and pipeline activity
  • Develop, maintain and leverage strong customer relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure solid supply lines of raw material in the market
  • Exceeding sales and margin budgets through effective sales and business development

Your skills and experience

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace and working “Toward Zero Harm”
  • Experienced in plastic packaging sales and account management
  • Strong financial acumen, financial performance to budget targets
  • Demonstrated capability to engage at all levels coupled with high level of influencing and negotiation abilities
  • Strong strategic selling and customer solution focus
  • Proven experience in Technical Sales and Solution Selling as a key account management or Business Development Manager
  • Personal presence and credibility that builds stakeholder engagement
